Japanese reactor explosion.

A nuclear reactor in Japan has exploded after losing power and therefore losing cooling water that is pumped into the reactor to cool the nuclear reactor`s core. This is unbelievable, the government is ordering people to stay indoors and keep windows closed as the cloud of steam will be carried by the wind and could affect those living near the nuclear facility. This on top of the earthquake and the tsunami that followed is almost too much to bear, we can only pray for those affected and hope they can take care of the injured and recover somehow from this disaster. The footage of the explosion is frightening I am sure most of the explosion is steam, but I am worried about the radiation. I hope this does not cause protests against nuclear power as we are using up coal at a very high rate and we can not keep that up forever. I have included footage and an animation of the explosion to illustrate what is going on and I am watching Al Jezeera online whilst I watch this as they are better than most mainstream media.

In related news, the creator of the enormously popular Pokemon (Pocket Monsters) television animated series, Satoshi Tajiri has been killed in the earthquake or the following tsunami I am not sure what actually happened, but this is extremely tragic and shocking indeed, I am watching the news live as I said and it does not seem to get any better at all, with the situation in Libya, the earthquake and the release of nuclear radiation from the nuclear reactor, we need something to save us from all of this despair but I am not sure what that will be. I will check the news tomorrow and see what is going on with the radioactive leak.
