The old Red Hat Linux wallpapers were the best, these old images, including a large selection of tiling images from the Propaganda collection, really made a Gnome 2.2 desktop stand out. Plus the space wallpapers. These are amazing. These may still be downloaded in 2023. They are very old noarch packages and may easily be unpacked and the images extracted.
