Julia Gillard.

The computers belonging to the Prime Minister Julia Gillard have been compromised in a coordinated cyber-attack by Chinese terrorist hackers. This on top of the incident where all Internet traffic for a time was re-routed through China allowing Chinese authorities to sort through sensitive western data. The computers that were cracked into had very simple passwords that were vulnerable to a brute force attack. This is plain and simple negligence and could be avoided with better enforcement of password length and complexity as well as better security software. The Linux operating system has encrypted passwords and better security than Windows, they said on the news that the security software, maybe Norton 360 or Symantec was not updated, but if they had better security software, then this probably would not have happened. Windows is not a very secure operating system no matter what you do as the users are always the weak point. If you use Windows in a limited user account and use runas to elevate privileges when needed, like sudo; then you will be in less trouble than if you are running as administrator.
