Using the Internet is annoying sometimes, everyone can relate to this.

Using the Internet can be annoying when you are searching for an obscure fix to a problem and there is a solution that is on a forum that you cannot view unless you register with it. The solution sometimes is to Google the URL and then open the cached page. Otherwise you must register and then wade through countless pages to find the actual solution. Or the solution is a patch in a file on an obscure Russian download site that has many dodgy ads on it and a counter that has to run before your free 12 kilobits per second download is available. Or the thread has a solution and the person has just said “Nvm fixed it. PM`ed you the answer.” That is also annoying. I hate forums sometimes. Thank god for sites like mine where I just have plain text answers and everything is relatively straightforward. Some download sites require a “downloader” program to be used to download the required file, and these programs are very dodgy, especially if run as Administrator. But running Windows as Administrator is not required and is a waste of time. Just run as a normal user and use UAC as intended, this will lessen the damage if you accidentally run malware, as it will be restricted to the normal user`s directory.

I have had this happen, and it is easier to clean up afterwards. But that is the problem with the Internet, there is so much content, that older content is harder to find, and forums close down, and everything is lost. or if the forums require you to register as I said before, this can be hard to do and very annoying to sign up to website after website to see a link that only registered users can see. Or sites like Microsoft Answers where they keep regurgitating the same support answers over and over, I mean seriously, just help users out please. I guess they have a technical support script to read from when attempting to fix something, but it can be hard to find a solution when trying to get Microsoft server solutions running and they need a certain mix of SQL Server, Windows Server 2012 or 2008, and the Microsoft Lync Server 2013 system and you are searching obscure error codes to find out why something is not working at all. But it does work in the end, but it is a real pain to get installed when you have not done it before.
