This amazing photograph is the first color panorama sent back to Earth by the Curiosity rover. The high-resolution camera on the rover is capable if extremely good quality photographs. I wish we could send a rover to the Moon with such a high-resolution camera. India are planning such a mission in a few years, this will shed more light on the surface of the Moon. But these photographs of the Martian surface are incredible, showing what humans are capable of when we have the drive to achieve space travel and send probes to other planets to explore and map the landscape. As well as looking for signs of life.
