New Brackets editor for Windows and Linux. Well worth checking out.

The new brackets editor by Adobe is another good software package that is also available for Linux. With syntax highlighting and project management; this is a very good new editor for writing HTML and other coding languages for Linux and Windows. Download this software here: http://download.brackets.io/. This editor is intended for web editing, coding HTML, CSS amd Javascript; but you could use this editor for many other purposes as well. I just wish this editor could have automatic completion of long words when writing a blog post. Sublime text has that feature. It is very useful when writing a lot of text and you re-use words occasionally. Javascript is one language that is still used on the web today along with PHP and HTML and an editor dedicated to those web languages is very useful these days. There is a 64bit Debian package available on the downloads page as well as a DMG file for the Macintosh OSX operating system. I am pretty sure you download this and then drag the DMG file into the Applications folder to install. Someone who has a Macintosh computer will have to correct me on this. This editor is fast to load and very simple; it does not have many features, but there are extensions available for the Windows version, but these are not available for the Linux version as of yet. Still, this is an interesting new editor and well worth checking out.
