Creating webm video clips on Linux using ffmpeg.

The /g/ wiki has a good guide for creating webm video clips from your existing video content using ffmpeg. This is not very difficult and allows you to post the completed videos on your website. Firefox and Iceweasel have native support for the webm format; this is an easy way for you to post video content on your website to showcase the videos to others. There is another guide here that gives more information on encoding to webm using ffmpeg: https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/VP8.

Find some demo webm files here: http://www.webmfiles.org/demo-files/. These are useful to test if your browser supports the webm format.
